This site is operated by Redbit S.r.l.s., Viale della Grande Muraglia 494, 00144 Roma, Italy ("we", "us"). We are the data controller. As an EU operator we apply the GDPR to all visitors regardless of location.

What we collect

The calculators run in your browser; the figures you enter are not sent to us or stored on our servers. We collect only standard technical data and, with your consent, analytics and advertising data:

  • Server logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest.
  • Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics 4) — only after you consent. Used in aggregate to understand which tools are useful.
  • Advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) — only after you consent. Ads may use cookies to limit repetition and measure performance.

Technical operation and security: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Analytics and advertising cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

Cookies & consent

We use a consent management platform and Google Consent Mode v2. Until you accept, advertising and analytics storage stay denied. See the cookie policy for details and categories.

Third parties

Consent-gated analytics and advertising (Google) act as independent or joint controllers for the data they collect; see Google's policies. A currency-rate provider (Frankfurter) is queried server-side and receives no personal data. We do not sell personal data; US visitors can exercise "Do Not Sell or Share" via the consent banner where applicable.

Newsletter (double opt-in)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your e-mail address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use a double opt-in procedure: after you submit the form we send a confirmation e-mail, and your subscription becomes active only once you click the confirmation link. As proof of consent we store the date and time of your sign-up and of your confirmation.

The newsletter is managed with self-hosted software (Listmonk) running on our own infrastructure within the EU; your address is not shared with any third party for their own purposes. You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter e-mail, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Retention

Server logs are kept for a limited period for security, then deleted or anonymized. Analytics/advertising retention follows the respective provider's settings. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, after which it is deleted (subject to the consent records we must keep as legal proof).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights contact [email protected] (DPO: [email protected]).
